Booking Contract

 

  1. La Pêcher, 8 Route De Noyant , La Pellerine, 49490 (the Property) is offered for holiday rental to
    (the Client) subject to confirmation by Mr and Mrs Mark Plummer (the Owners).
  2. The House Keepers are Mr & Mrs Cynthia Plummer (my parents), who can be contacted on +33 (0) 241 82 52 48 in an emergency.
  3. Please return the signed booking form by xxxxxx.
  4. Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period should be settled locally with the Owners or their representative before departure.
  5. In the event of a cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the Owners are able to re-let the Property, and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc., since these are not covered by the Owners’ insurance.
  6. The rental period will commence at 16:00 on the first day and end at 10:00 on the last day. The Client must provide advance notification to the Owners if they will be arriving later than 19:00. The Owners shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after time stated.
  7. The maximum number of people to reside in the Property or use the amenities must not exceed six, unless written permission has previously been obtained.
  8. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The rental price includes a basic two hours of cleaning; an additional cleaning service is available at additional cost.
  9. The Property is to be locked and the keys returned to our House Keepers or left in the letter box.
  10. Loss of keys or remotes will be charged to the Client at the discretion of the Owners.
  11. Pets are not allowed in the Property.
  12. The Client shall report to the Owners or the House Keepers without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property or garden. Arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible by the Owners. 
  13. All young children (aged 10 and under) must supervised by a responsible, sober adult while in the garden area.
  14. The Owners shall not be liable to the Client:
  • For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant machinery or appliance in the Property or garden.
  • For any loss, damage or injury which is a result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the Owners.
  • For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period. In any such event the Owners shall, within seven days of notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
  1. Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability to the Client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.
